Tuesdays thoughts - My friend Kimberly Taylor's {auction for africa} and a pretty little collage....

Blessed are we that people try and make a difference every day.... My friend Kimberly Taylor is heading to Africa with her incredibly inspirational mum in three weeks to open a  children's home...  You can read more about this beautiful story here.  Kimberly is holding an auction on her blog for the next 2 days to raise much needed funds....You can find the auction HERE.  When my beautiful hazel eyed boy heard about this incredible story he wanted to help too so he has made hundred's of macaroons to raise money and will be sending these ladies over  $600....so if a Sixteen year old can do it the least we can do is go and bid on these gorgeous items.... {I have a bid on the cute little girls dress}

 I also wanted to thank all my facebook friends for all the sweet comments about the collages I do each morning....  There is so much beauty on pinterest {plus a few of my own photos here and there}I love sharing with you all ....

Wednesday thoughts.... New books, Coming Soon and a year ago today....

My hazel eyed girl was one of those girls at high school that just didn't fit the mold.  She struggled with friendships but in saying that she was also blessed to have some gorgeous girls in her life and Ali was surely one of them....I was so happy to spend the morning with Ali last Friday as she is working on a design project for me...In her second year of graphic design at uni and just back from 6 months in the US she is a delight and I can't wait to see what she comes up with ......

Do you believe it is 6 months today since her beautiful wedding day and a year since she got engaged...  This is such a special photo for me...  Four of the most marvellous people in my life....  Our beautiful friends the Eriksens were hosting my hazel eyed girl and the blue eyed boy when the blue eyed boy popped the big question... and then they flew from Victoria to be here on my hazel eyed girls big day.... Such a special day !!!!!!

I am just about to read this gorgeous inspiring book and I also have a few copies left in my store....

My beautiful hazel eyed boy sat his first ever uni exam yesterday (he is just doing one external subject while he is still at school)....23 pages in 2 hours and he was beyond exhausted....He will be so glad when this week is over at school as QCS practice and another German exam yet to come.  Lots of deadlines to meet over the next month or so but I am up for the very exciting challenge....  Take care my friends and I hope you all  have a beautiful week....

I have had some gorgeous comments from friends on facebook about my collages and I must say for me they are just a joy to wake up in the morning and make for you all :)

As always it is a very hectic time for them both...My hazel eyed girl just finished 3 weeks of prac and has 3 assignments to finish before next Monday but then she can take a breather thankfully with 4 weeks off and she is heading to the coast for a week with her blue eyed boy ....My hazel eyed boy has just finished 3 exams in the last 2 days and has a lot more assessment for the next week and a half .... To think this photo was nearly 5 years ago when  andrew was preparing to go to high school and in just a few months his high school life will be all over....It all happens so very fast...

Mondays Thoughts - Winter is definitely here, coming to the end of term and pinterest....

My hazel eyed boy sat at the table and said there is only 87 days left of school mum.... My heart skipped a beat because even though I will be excited for him that all this hard work will be over and he will get to have a well deserved break that means my little boy will be finished school forever...  He definitely makes being a mum of a 16 year old a very easy job.... These images are when his friend Kasia came over to help with his last batches of  macaroons...He has his last fundraiser tomorrow and will hopefully hit his target of $700 for Barbs Home of Angels.

I spend a little time each day looking at gorgeous images and beautiful quotes on pinterest and yes I am a dreamer ....

The end of this year is looking like one of the most exciting for my business and me  in general... Can't wait to share ...  A few new charms in stock, gorgeous Sweet Pauls kids edition arrived today in STORE and I am working at finding and creating new stock all the time.....

Tuesday thoughts - winter is coming, my hazel eyed boy and what is in my store .....

He warms my heart every day.... He is exhausted at the moment with school assignments and assessments and his semester of uni  is finally coming to an end but he always has a smile on his face.... He will bake again this weekend for his final fundraiser for Barb's home of angels then in 4 weeks I think he will want to sleep for the 2 weeks of break....

A few new charms, some gorgeous new cotton ribbons are now in store. Coming soon new magazines from Sweet Paul, Kinfolk and Jeanne d arc Living....

The weather in my little cottage has turned very cold.... We have had 3 frosts already and the daytime temperature have been around 9 - 13 degrees.... Just makes me want to snuggle up with a good book or magazine in front of the fire.... Until next week my friends.....Stay warm ..... 

Tuesday's thoughts - New Studio room, Exciting News but can't share yet, Relay for Life and whats in stock...

Sitting here in my Pj's, listening to the rain gently fall on my tin roof, house work to do and a studio to finish but  as the days roll by as fast as can be I thought I would share what is happening this week .... Images of my studio as I slowly put it back together....Electrician coming tomorrow to put my light fitting up...

In store at the moment and loads of new magazines on the way over the next month so keep an eye out .... New stock to source and fun things ahead ....More information coming soon ...

Well what a year it is turning out to be for my hazel eyed boy... These images have been taken over the last 9 months or so... He is excited about the thought of  finishing school but yet sad all at at the same time...He is working beyond hard and was so excited yeserday after sitting a preliminary exam that he did very well....  He will be involved in Relay for Life this coming weekend so please if you would like to support him...Click HERE

Monday Thoughts - Studio move, my hazel eyed boy, in store and a little pretty inspiration.....

I have been talking seriously with my hazel eyed man about swapping our bedroom with my studio.... We are on a very strict budget this year and when I moved my studio into my hazel eyed girls old bedroom I didn't realise how bad the lighting was and I have only one electrical socket....and I don't want to spend any money so my easiest solution was to move rooms ....plus I have fun doing it ......

It is and has already been a crazy last year of school for my hazel eyed boy...He spent the weekend working on another 200 or so macaroons for another fund raiser tomorrow { plus making some timber carved trophies with his dad to try and get some pocket money for europe}.... This semester he is also doing uni and I can promise you I am not one of those mums that push my kids to do anything, when he gets an idea he just runs with it no matter what (he may have got a little of that trait from me)  On the 18th and 19th of this month he will be involved in relay for life raising money for the cancer council.... My beautiful hazel eyed girl is pushing her way through a very hectic first 4 months of the year and goes on prac for uni on the 13th for three weeks...She is very blessed to have some dear friends at uni that keep her sane....

I released a few new charms yesterday in my store.  and I only have a couple left so go and take a look .....
