New Years Eve

My dear friend Angela gave me this sweet little book for Christmas... As it is New Years Eve here I wanted to share a few of the wonderful quotes from it.... Here are some of my favourites
We find a delight in the beauty and happiness of children that makes the heart too big for the body - Ralph Waldo Emerson

Happiness is the spiritual experience of living every minute with love, grace and gratitude - Denis Waitley

The greatest happiness of life is the conviction that we are loved - loved for ourselves, or rather, loved in spite of ourselves - Victor Hugo

I hope you all have a wonderful New Years Eve and that 2008 brings you heaps of love and laughter.....

Cathy: very good quotes. I have several books that have quotes and poems, but I haven't read them in a while. You've reminded me I need to look through them again. Blessings through the New Year, Theresa

Thank you for these lovely quotes. I loved the one from Emerson. I became a mom later in life (age 36) and am constantly amazed at the joy that my children give me. Sometimes I know that feeling, of my heart being much to large and full to be contained in my body. It is a physical sensation of happiness. Now I know that someone else has also felt this feeling and put such beautiful words down to describe it. Thanks!

Hi Cathy!

I hope that you have enjoyed your Christmas celebrating with your family and friends. Here it is quiet at the moment, very quiet..everyone has left the house and it feels empty. I felt overwhelmed to have so many people in our house for 3 weeks, but still it felt very right and good. Maybe because I grewed up with 7 siblings..I miss them all allready.

What a thoughtul person Angela is, heartwarming gift!
Love the quotes..I collect them myself, I mean, pretty little books with words of wisdoms and quotes..I keep them in a little basket in my bedside table. Maybe I should show them on my blog.

It always feels so peaceful here, inside your little world :)
Wonderful...

What are you working on at the moment?
I wish you good creative days Cathy!
Kiss and hug from Aina x
