Images from my scrapbook - Monday!!!

Hi my friends
Well I thought I would start Monday's with images from my scrapbooks...I am slowly working my way through piles and piles of old magazines and making them into inspirational scrapbooks of what I love....These were pages from an old Home Companion (I think)......It was always a very eclectic magazine with wonderful artists and inspirational sayings!!!!!

It is sad to hear that Home Companion has met its demise as it was an enjoyable magazine.I see Country Home has reached the same fate.
But alas there is still Romantic Homes where two of their featured artists are heavenly.(C & C of course)
Enjoy your warm and pleasant day. Perhaps I could send some snow your way!

PS ~ The studio looks wonderful.

Cathy, I do the same!! I can't manage all the stacks of magazines, so I tear the inspirational pages & sort of clip/bind them together into a makeshift book/collection itself. =)

Oh I am so glad that someone else does that too. I always thought I was the weird one who ripped like one article out of an old magazine and put it in a scrapbook. I call mine "My Idea Book" I look at them all the time. Some pages are just of a beautiful pic of a flower in full bloom and I fell in love with the color. I also Have a book that I carry in my purse with me of all my fav. quotes and who said them. It is nice to know that there are fellow kindred spirits out there!

What a great idea! I tear out pages and tack them on my inpsiration board- and then I file them away in files by room or type of project- garden, etc...Then when I want to so eomthing in one of those places, I pull them all out and decide...But I LOVE your idea too...Thanks for sharing!
