A bit of a scary week!!!!

Well these are my precious kids and some weeks the universe just reminds you again how quickly things can happen!!!! Late Sunday afternoon my son Andrew was out riding his bike when a car accidentally hit the back of his bike, luckily a friend was driving past and came and got me. He was a little battered and bruised and had a very sore knee and couldn't walk very well but he was OK!!!! so, so lucky....Then the same afternoon Kirstie came home from seeing Harry Potter and had tonsillitis again and then the next day had uncontrollable vomiting which she needed an injection to stop and is still slowly recovering.... and you know what I feel.....I feel grateful to be their mum, grateful to be there for them no matter what, grateful to see their smiles, give them hugs and watch them grow....

I have been there on several occasions and know how often we forget that we are so blessed on the days when things roll by without incident. I think we have these days to be reminded of that~
Glad to hear everyone is okay,

Hi Cathy what a nightmare couple of days glad they are on the mend. My son had the vomiting once with tonsilitis yuck luckily he usually just complained of a tummy upset. Both my kids have had them out this year it has been good not to be at the dr every couple of weeks and antibiotics all the time.

Yes, its moments like these that we need to just be Mum & let everything else take a back seat. Although I still worry about my 5, it's MOTH (aka Mr. Clumsy) who tends to give me more heart-stopping moments these days with his ladder & power tool escapades!
